Pakistan’s ex-prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has invited Amitabh Bachchan, who has said he will undertake the visit to the country whenever he gets an opportunity.
The PML-Q Senator had written a letter to the Bollywood superstar, who has ancestral roots in Pakistan, saying: “Since your mother was born and bred in Faisalabad district of Punjab, you should come here and visit the places where your mother spent time. Your visit will also promote peace between the two countries.”
Replying to his letter, Bachchan assured him that he will cross the border whenever he gets the opportunity.
Bachchan said: “As you rightly expressed, my mother’s ancestral roots go back to Lyallpur now Faisalabad (district of Punjab, some 120 kilometers from Lahore), where my mother was born and to Lahore Government College where she spent her educational life. Read more on msn.
