“I look forward to putting on some weight very soon so that I won’t have to worry about my looks and being glamorous all the time. It will anyways all fade away with time,” Johansson said in a statement.

In ‘Chef’, Johansson plays a role unlike herself – a character slightly deglamourized, not the best looking and just about a little plumper than usual.

After a limited release in the US, ‘Chef’, about a Miami-born workaholic in Los Angeles, will hit Indian screens on June 13.

Distributed by MVP Entertainment India, the film is directed, written by and starring Jon Favreau as chef Carl Casper. The film also stars Sofia Vergara, Dustin Hoffman and Robert Downey Jr.

Amala has wrapped up shooting for all her current projects, while her would-be husband is awaiting the release of his Tamil directorial ‘Saivam‘.

A minute with Kristen Stewart

From Hollywood to Cannes, Kristen Stewart has worked hard to put some distance between her ‘Twilight‘ fame and the more serious dramatic projects she has been embracing since the vampire romance franchise ended.

A minute with Kristen Stewart

Stewart, 24, who became a fan favorite among young adults alongside her then-boyfriend Robert Pattinson in the ‘Twilight’ films where she played a teen girl smitten with a vampire, has turned to darker fare such as this year’s Sundance film ‘Camp X-Ray‘, where she plays a prison guard at Guantanamo Bay.

In her latest movie ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Stewart plays the personal assistant of an aging actress dealing with the challenges of the film industry’s reaction to her getting older. The film also stars Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz.

In an interview with Reuters, the actress opened up about her views on the fame game and dealing with perceptions. Read More On MSN

Tiger Shroff Says I want to be full package like Hrithik Roshan

Tiger Shroff, the latest stunt hero in tinsel town, finds a perfect example to follow in Hrithik Roshan, who he believes is a great dancer, fighter and actor simultaneously.

After the release of ‘Heropanti’, the actor spoke to IANS.

Tiger Shroff Says I want to be full package like Hrithik RoshanTiger Shroff Says I want to be full package like Hrithik Roshan

Excerpts:

Q. How would you rate yourself as an action hero?

A. Four out of 10 or maybe five out of 10. There’s more to action than just kicking, punching and grunting. If you see Bruce Lee, he’s very direct in his action. But there’s an emotion behind each punch. I don’t want to do stunts and action scenes just to show off. There has to be motivation for the action. The stunts can only be relevant if they have a back story.

An actor can be a good fighter and dancer. But just by knowing these skills you don’t become an actor. Hrithik Roshan, who is my favourite, is a fabulous dancer and fighter. But before all of that, he’s an actor. If in ‘Kaho Na…Pyaar Hai’, he had merely danced and fought, he wouldn’t have been where he is.

Q. So did you make a conscious effort to act rather than dance and fight in your first film?

A. I just wanted to seem normal on screen. I wanted my character to come across as honest. I wanted to say my dialogues with conviction. To stand up to a National Award winning actor like Prakash Raj was not easy for me. On the first day of our shooting together, I was shivering. But he made me comfortable.

Q. You’re Gandhian in real life. How do you manage to do all the fights on screen?

A. I am very uncomfortable with violence and noise. I like to be in peaceful spaces. I’m very spiritual.

Q. But girls like wicked guys?

A. My next role would have darker shades. But in real life….sorry…I can’t be a ruffian just to create a sexy image. I’d rather be myself than someone invented by the public relations machinery. People are saying I’ve a girlfriend. Then they swing the other way and say I’m gay. I wish they would make up their minds.

Q. Does such speculation annoy you?

A. No, I am glad they are curious about my life. You only get talked about if you matter to people. If I was a nobody, why would they care?

Q. You have a slew of offers?

A. I do. But right now, I’m only focusing on ‘Heropanti’. I’m anxious to know what audiences want from me. I won’t be doing an action film next. I want to break out of that trap. I want to be a full package like Hrithik sir. Who has made an impact like him after ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’?

Q. Were you bothered with the nasty comments on the internet?

A. No. I would have been, if any of it were true. But I know people are being mean for the heck of it. It’s part of the game. I’d rather not retaliate. I’d like to let my work speak for me. The numbers for ‘Heropanti’ are speaking to me.

Q. Your life will change now?

A. I am aware of that. I hope I can cope with the pressures on my private space. I hope I never rub anyone the wrong way. I know I can’t please everyone. But I don’t want to displease anyone.

Q. You are doing a film with Alia Bhatt?

A. There are talks. But nothing concrete. Who am I to choose my co-stars right now? And if I must choose, it’d be Madhuri Dixit. Whatever I do, I want the effort to be appreciated.

Q. Is success very important to you?

A. It is. But more than that, I want to make my parents happy. And my sister Krishna. She’s very proud of me. She didn’t know I could do the things she saw me doing in ‘Heropanti’. She’s grown up with me. She saw her brother in a new light.

Hrithik Roshan Says My sister bravest on earth

Superstar Hrithik Roshan overcame stammering and he is currently in the midst of a divorce with his estranged wife Suzanne Khan. Challenges may be many, but the actor says facing them and moving on is made easy when he looks at the fighting spirit of his elder sister Sunaina, a cancer survivor.

Hrithik Roshan Says My sister bravest on earth

“I am so proud and blessed to have a sister like my ‘didi’. I’ve seen her battle through challenges, and gain victory over things that could devastate any of us. My sister is the bravest person on earth,” Hrithik said to an eclectic gathering.

The occasion was special for the Roshan family – it was the launch of “To Dad, With Love”, Sunaina’s book on their father and actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik and Sunaina’s mother Pinkie too was present for the event.

Unlike most siblings, Hrithik took to the stage and introduced his “real superhero” Sunaina to the audience, and the spectators made the evening truly special by applauding her.

Sunaina, who came out for a public event here after seven months, was a tad embarrassed. But for Hrithik, it seemed like a gesture he’d been wanting to do for his sister for a long time.

“When I go through challenges, didi, I think if your challenges and then of your smile, and I have no other choice but to go on,” Hrithik said in his tribute to his sister.

The older of the siblings, Sunaina battled cervical cancer and she has two failed marriages behind her. The actor even thanked her and his mother for working tirelessly in bringing out a book on their father, and for “setting him in the realms of history”.

“The story will capture my relationship with the superstar since our theatre days. It will be about how our relationship has lasted over the years even though we’ve aged. I wanted to make the film with no references to Rajni, his name or photos but we couldn’t avoid it,” Raj told US.

Raj is playing one of the leads in the film, which will feature a yet-to-be-revealed actor in the role of the superstar.

“We want to keep the actor playing Rajnikanth a secret. Audiences can come to the theatres to find out who has played the role. We are not trying to cash in on Rajni’s popularity but use it to send across strong message to the society through the film,” he said.

The film, which is gearing up for release, has been directed by Rushi.

“He is very excited about the film. When I had called to seek his permission, he instantly agreed to the idea and also told me that he would watch the film together when it is released,” added Raj.

“What’s now strange is when I go home for the weekend, I feel like my face is really flat – I feel very dull in comparison to her. She’s so much more fun,” she said.

The brunette beauty, who is raising six children with fiance Brad Pitt, said that the film, which revolves around the villain of Disney’s 1959 classic, ‘Sleeping Beauty’ has taught her a lot about ‘being a woman’.

“I’ve learned more about being a woman. She’s very complicated, she wasn’t born evil. She was born very soft and female in a way that a lot of women will be able to relate to but then she was abused in a way,” she said.

“We’ve all had that experience where something has made us put our wall up and fell like, in order to survive, we need to become tougher,” she added.

Varun said: “Alia has got great marketing skills. It was her idea. She interferes in marketing, editing and everything (Laughs).”

She will next be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Holiday‘.

“I want to do more ‘Lootera’ like films. I do want to do more films like that but a perfect script like that comes rarely. I am choosy. I have to feel very instinctively about a film. If it does not feel right from the bottom of my heart, I will not take it,” Sonakshi told US.
