Actress Suchitra Sen, who passed away in January, has been posthumously given a lifetime achievement award at the inaugural edition of Filmfare Awards East.
The award was accepted by her granddaughters Raima and Riya Sen at a glittering ceremony last night.
Suchitra Sen, best known for films like ‘Devdas’, ‘Aandhi’ ‘Saptapadi’ and ‘Deep Jele Jai’ passed away at the age of 82 in January this year.
