Indian-origin US actor Rohan Chand in 'Lone Survivor'

Rohan Chand shares screen space with Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg in ‘Lone Survivor‘.

Rohan, who has acted in movies like ‘Jack & Jill’ and ‘Bad Words‘, is said to have an integral role in ‘Lone Survivor’ that will hit Indian screens on February 7.

His character and his onscreen father, played by actor Ali Suliman in the film, are the ones who save Wahlberg from the Afghan Army and nurse him back to health. The child actor, who started acting at the age of six, also speaks in Hindu and Urdu in the film, said a statement. Read More On MSN

Ben Affleck will do great as Batman, says Colin Farrell

Actor Colin Farrell shares his views on Oscar-winning actor Ben Affleck playing Batman.

Colin Farrell feels that Ben Affleck will do a great job as Batman in the ‘Man of Steel‘ sequel.

Affleck, 41, has been cast in 2016′s ‘Man of Steel’ alongside heartthrob Henry Cavill, who is reprising his role of the Superman in the superhero movie, reported Contactmusic.

“I always enjoyed watching him, as a director he’s extraordinary too, but his work in ‘The Town‘ and ‘Argo’, he was so fantastic in both those films,” Affleck said.

Keira Knightley is hoping that her ‘Love Actually‘ co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor will win the best actor in a leading role category at the 86th Academy Awards for his performance as Solomon Northup in the movie ’12 Years A Slave’.

Ejiofor is up against Matthew McConaughey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Bruce Dern.

“I loved ’12 Years A Slave’ so that would be my favourite. I worked with Chiwetel and he is such a phenomenal actor. He is one of the actor’s actors. Aaron Eckhart starrer Hollywood film ‘I, Frankenstein’ is the latest spin on Mary Shelley’s classic horror story where Indian origin actor Mahesh Jadu is playing a key role.

Director Stuart Beattie makes the character of Frankenstein, who in Shelley’s novel was born out of a freakish experiment by an eccentric doctor, take a leap of almost 200 years. The film is being released in India by PVR this Friday.

Sony Pictures Entertainment’s upcoming film will follow a fictional narrative that focuses on themes raised by Sheryl Sandberg’s ‘Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead’.

 Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg’s book will be adapted for the big screen.

Her bestseller was titled ‘Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead’ and Sony Pictures Entertainment has reportedly acquired the rights to the project, with Nell Scovell (who worked with Sandberg on the book) on board to write the script.

According to online magazine Deadline, the film’s plot will follow a fictional narrative that focuses on themes raised by the book. Read More On MSN
